Pleasant View Fire Department is opening for volunteer firefighters. Join a busy metro combination department averaging 1200 calls per year. Pleasant View sits on the edge of the foothills, between Golden and Lakewood. Pleasant View has an engine/truck and type 6 apparatus. Pleasant View Fire offers a high level of training for new and experienced firefighters. PVFD works closely with neighboring departments to offer technical rescue, swift water, ice rescue and wildland training as well.

Commitment: 36 hours of shift work per month, and 36 hours of training per year which includes on-shift training. 

Qualifications: 
Highschool Diploma/ GED
NREMT/ Colorado State EMT Certification or within 6 months of hire date.

Preferred Qualifications:
Colorado State EMT 
Firefighter I
